Tranverse approach : Science-society relationships through field tests

The objective of the transverse approach is to forge methodological and conceptual bridges between the four research axes and the four LADYSS sites. It seeks to consolidate LADYSS’ interdisciplinary dynamic by providing a research and debating framework for its members based around shared research interests discussed at seminars.
The key benefit of this strategy is that it forges a vocabulary and methods that can be understood by all. The transverse approach also seeks to boost the links between researchers and society, particularly through field trips that bring together researchers, key territorial operators, businesses and inhabitants.
